We love Dr. Lopez. She totally “gets” Dave. And this prescription for a daily slice of lemon meringue pie is proof! Full strength, of course.
Last week after we finished meeting with Dr. Lopez, she left to write the necessary prescriptions in her office. A few minutes later when Wende, Dr. Lopez’ nurse, handed us several prescriptions she had a curious grin on her face. We quickly discovered why when we found this one along with the others. We all had a great laugh and Dr. Lopez couldn’t resist coming back into the room to give Dave a hug and see what he thought of her orders. He loved it, of course. It’s so nice to have moments of laughter and fun in the middle of this crazy journey.
