Dave was able to come home last night. What a blessing. He loves being home and he loves his Mr.Smith.
We are still waiting for the results of the bone marrow biopsy, and those results will determine whether his treatment plan can be tackled on an outpatient basis or if he will need to be readmitted. At this point, the plan is to return on Friday for another intrathecal chemo treatment to the brain.
Thank you so much for all of your prayers. We truly believe that your prayers are guiding our doctors to the right plan of action. Dr. Linahres (our new doctor) just called with news of a little different chemo plan as a result of research she is doing and reaching out around the country to people doing clinical trials. We so much appreciate her dedication and diligence in getting all the possible information she can about Dave’s situation, which is actually quite rare. God is leading her and it is because of your prayers. We so trust God to take us to the right answers.
Thank you to all of you who were at the prayer time last night at Inland Hills Church. What an amazing expression of your love for Dave and our dependance on God.
